DESCRIPTION:At 1100hrs on Friday 27th June the Thomas Flamank Commemoration will take place at Bodmin. \nIt takes place at the Flamank Plaque on Bodmin Town Wall\, located below a modern Cornish Cross at the junction of Higher Bore Street and Dennison Road. \nEveryone gathers together\, with banners and flags. Speeches and prayers are given\, plus some singing. Three wreaths are hung on the wall\, before dispersal. \nThe event is organised by Androw Hawke of the Cornish Nationalist Party. Bodmin Old Cornwall Society are regular participants in the event.

SUMMARY:Bodmin Bombing Memorial Service
DESCRIPTION:Commemoration service in Dennison Road\, Bodmin in memory of those who lost their lives when a bomb was dropped there on 7th August 1942.\nEight people from one famiy were killed and one boy who was working at a local dairy.\n\nWe hold this Service every year and it is well attended locally including Bodmin Town Council and Bodmin DCLI. The Service is taken by Rev Paul Holley from Bodmin Parish Church and two minutes silence  followed by the Last Post.
