SUMMARY:Tales of the Tides - Oral History Workshop
DESCRIPTION:Chris Trevena (Dialect Recorder for the Federation of Old Cornwall Societies) will be delivering a free workshop on Oral History Recording for the Federation of Old Cornwall Societies. This workshop will focus on the importance of recording Oral History\, interviewing skills\, recording equipment (ranging from low-end to high-end)\, editing software\, mixing\, and exporting settings for best results. \nThe outcome of the session is to boost confidence in those wishing to record Oral History\, equipping attendees with the basic knowledge for the task\, and how to work with potentially noisy environments to achieve good results. \nPlease expect the talk to last between 40-60 minutes.
