Lovely to see that the weather held for the Cury & Gunwalloe Old Cornwall Society day out to Trevince Gardens last Thursday. Looks a splendid day out and they also visited Cornwall’s famous Gwennap Pit. Here John Wesley is said to have preached to a staggering 32,000 people back in 1773. The twelve circular rows were cut by miners between 1803-1806.
An interesting, informative and enjoyable day out.
