DESCRIPTION:This will be a repeat of the walk undertaken on 2nd June which was massively popular and oversubscribed. \nStart 1400hrs: Outside Torpoint AFC Clubhouse\, Mill Lane\, Torpoint (Nr. Carbiele Mill) -w3w///begins.fund.trap \n(There is a monument there in memory of Robert Bagster VINTER who lost his life at the Battle of the Somme.) \nParking has been agreed at the Torpoint Football Park. \nThe walk will be lead by Tom Harvey and Angela Larratt with research input by Rosemary Pellew (TAHC volunteers) and introduced by Leadville Parsons(TDOC Chairman) \nWe will walk along the river side into town\, stopping to discuss all of the historic assets along the way.\nCome and join us for this marvellous maritime meander! \nFinish: Karkadia\, Tamar Street for tea & coffee.\nPlease note that the Café is opening specially for us\, so one and all are encouraged to join us for a cuppa! \n(Make your own way back to your car at your leisure) \nApprox 1.5 miles (2 hours) Easy walking\, no steep inclines. \nLimited to 25 participants. \nBooking Essential: https://buytickets.at/federationofoldcornwallsocieties1/2240643
