DESCRIPTION:The walk will begin at the Bickford-Smith Institute (Clock tower) by the start of the pier and will proceed around the harbour and up on to the cliff top Wrestling Fields.\n\nAlong the way David will talk about the key buildings around the harbour and about the planning\, construction and working life of the harbour itself. There are many points of interest and topics for discussion and the walk usually takes 2 hours (plus).  The distance covered is only about 1.5 miles in total and is easy to moderate terrain.  There is more emphasis on standing at given points rather than any strenuous walking.\n\nThere is a little more information available on David’s website @ https://porthleventowntalks.co.uk/what-to-expect/\n\nBooking essential\, contact henshawdavid@hotmail.com

DESCRIPTION:Meet at 2pm by the clock tower for a guided stroll round the harbour…and up Breageside to the wrestling fields & the Memorial Cross to unburied seamen . \nPARKING: Shrubberies Hill Car Park \nDirections – Leaving Helston towards Porthleven on B3304\,car park is accessed from back road signposted LoeBar & Penrose….DONT take the right hand bend into Porthleven..but carry straight on towards Higher Peverell Tce/Shrubberies Hill…parking is on the right at top of Shrubberies Hill.\nThen walk down to the Clock Tower (5mins approx) \nSTART: 2pm @ Clock Tower \nRETURN: En route back to your cars\, head up Salt Cellar Hill to Peverell Terrace.\nPorthleven OCS will put on light refreshments with a ‘cuppa’..in the gardens of no 5 Coastguards\, Peverell Terrace.
