Bodmin OCS - Prayer Book Rebellion
Organised by Bodmin Old Cornwall Society the first service commemorating this event from 1549 was held at St Petroc's Church Bodmin on Saturday 17th August 2019. A good number of Kernow Goth societies turned up to support this event and paraded their banners around the church following Cornish Piper, former Grand Bard Merv Davey. A sizeable congregation from the various societies together with Bodmin folk attended the service that included readings and singing in Kernewek.
It is anticipated that this will become an annual event. *
