On a gorgeous mid-August day, a coachload of members bravely took on the trials, tribulations and traffic of the A30 in summer to visit Penzance’s superb Victorian Penlee House and Museum.

After torrential morning rain, a group of St Austell members set off at midday to explore the beautiful Cornish Georgian house at Washaway – Pencarrow House, home of the Molesworth-St Aubyns for nearly 500 years.
