Welcome to the Penryn & Falmouth Old Cornwall Society webpage.
The Penryn & Falmouth Old Cornwall Society was founded on 10th December 1926 and the first President was the then mayor of Falmouth, Councillor T. A. Webber.
The society is a member of the Federation of Old Cornwall Societies. Its aim is to encourage the teaching and use of the Cornish Language, to keep alive ancient customs and traditions. To preserve and study records, relics, ancient sites, monuments, paths etc., locally, and throughout Cornwall and to investigate and record the Duchy's history. Our own Recorder is always glad to have information of local historical interest.
