There will be no Lafrowda Day in St Just this year.

In the past, as part of the Lafrowda Day celebrations, St Just and Pendeen Old Cornwall Society has put on an Exhibition of Archive Material in the Woman’s Institute Hall. This has always been extremely well attended, and we have been asked on numerous occasions “Will there be an Exhibition this year?”. To satisfy this demand, we are intending to have an “Open Day” for the Society’s Archive Material in the Age Concern Building in Fore Street, St Just on SATURDAY JULY 19TH, from 10:00am until 4:00pm. All are welcome to come and browse through our archive. Admission will be free, but a donation for Society funds would be appreciated.
