May 18 @ 7:00 pm - 8:30 pm

*Come on a journey with us to learn more about Cornwall’s hidden gem which provided a regular railway service three years before Queen Victoria ascended the throne in 1837… and two years before Londoners had any rail service at all!
* Discover how Sir William Molesworth of Pencarrow started it all just five years after the opening of the Stockton to Darlington, the first steam passenger line
* Marvel at one of the longest railway restoration projects in history, and how it in involved a world famous opera singer, a romantic castle and a Royal connection!
John will also have his wonderful full colour and glossy book on sale that has been highly acclaimed and recommended by the National Magazine ‘Steam Railway’ – ‘Something Special’ (proceeds from book sales to Bodmin Steam Railway Charity)
