Welcome to the St Ives Old Cornwall Society webpage.

We usually meet on the first Monday in the month at Carbis Bay Memorial Hall with a 7.00pm start. There is lots of parking at the hall and easy access to inside toilets. Refreshments will be served prior to the meeting.

Subscription: £10.00 annual membership, £2.00 for casual attendance to meetings.

Members make contributions of interest to the membership with refreshments for a ‘chat’ time in the middle. (refreshments after the quiz)

Monday 1st February - Talk: Postcards from his collection depicting local villages to St Ives by Jonathan Warner

Monday 1st March - Talk: The Torrey Canyon by Martin Brockman
On the anniversary month of the shipwreck.

Monday 5th April - Talk: Recorder's Videos by Tony Mason
Tony Mason, our recorder, will show a montage of his videos of St Ives events and happenings.

Monday 10th May - Talk: The St Ives Branch Line of the Railway by Pete Garrett + AGM
(to avoid May Day)

Wednesday 23rd June - Midsummer Eve Bonfire on Carnstabba Hill.
