Flotsam & Jetsam – Arts Workshop led by Jane Malcolm

June 27 @ 11:00 am - 3:00 pm

Join us for a hands‑on creative workshop using flotsam and jetsam gathered from our local shores. Led by local artist Jane Malcolm, this relaxed and welcoming session invites participants of all ages to transform shoreline materials into unique pieces of art inspired by the river, the tides, and the stories of our coastal communities.

As part of the Tales of the Tides: Voices of the Sea project, this workshop celebrates the heritage of the Tamar and encourages us to look at our riverfront in new and imaginative ways.

Materials will be provided, and no previous artistic experience is needed — just curiosity and a willingness to explore.

You are encouraged to go out on to the river bank and collect some material in preparation for the workshop. Further details will be provided on registration.

Booking: This workshop is free, but spaces are limited. To reserve your place, please email: rillaton@gmail.com

Hosted by Callington Old Cornwall Society, in partnership with the Federation of Old Cornwall Societies and supported by the Plymouth Sound National Marine Park and the National Lottery Heritage Fund.
