Looe Old Cornwall Society moves online in covid

Looe Old Cornwall normally holds monthly meetings from September to May, which include a brief business meeting, a talk on some aspect of Cornish life, past, present or future, and a social time with tea and home-made cake. Our meetings are held at St Martin’s Hall, Looe, on the second Saturday of the month at 2.30 pm. The hall has ample parking and disabled access.

This January (2021) we have had our first virtual meeting via Zoom, and intend to continue with these meetings until May 2021.

Our normal social events include an annual cream tea at the home of one of our Vice-Presidents, a boat trip up the West Looe River, two or three meals out and a Christmas party, with other summer visits to places of interest. We are hoping to hold at least some of these events in the coming summer and autumn.

The photographs below give an idea of our activities in happier times.
