Old Cornwall had great success at the recent Cornwall Heritage Awards in Liskeard with ‘Music of the Roseland’ and the Roseland Carol Project.

On Monday 17th March Dr Kate Neale (Cornish National Music Archive) and Nev Meek (St Gerrans and Porthscatho OCS) gave a fantastic presentation to the assembled masses on the Music of the Roseland Project and the Roseland Carol Project. Both projects involved St Gerrans & Porthscatho OCS, Cornish National Music Archive, and Roseland Music Society. The carol project was supported by the Federation. Both projects were a tremendous success; you will recall that we took the Roseland carols to the Cathedral in December thanks to Bert Biscoe and Truro OCS.

Both projects were “Highly Commended” for collaboration, and the carol project was additionally “Highly Commended” for innovation; a great night for Old Cornwall.
