On Friday 7th August Bodmin OCS held their annual Bodmin Bombing Remembrance Service.
On 7th August 1942, during WW2, and bomb was dropped on Mill Street, Bodmin, killing 9 people, including 8 members of one family.
This year the service was attended by the Mayor of Bodmin, DCLI Old Comrades Association, Stephanie Thomas (Vice-President of Bodmin OCS), and others.
A meaningful service was held at the plaque commemorating the event, which concluded with the playing of the last post.
