Par OCS marks 75 years with vibrant celebration

Par Old Cornwall Society celebrated its 75th anniversary with a joyful exhibition and community gathering on Saturday. The event featured music and dance, talks, heritage photographs, and a pasty lunch followed by tea and cake.

Founded in 1950, Par OCS has long been active in preserving local heritage, from commemorative plaques to monthly talks and walks. Their iconic banner, presented in 1955, proudly displays the Five Arches Bridge, a chough, and native flora — symbols of their enduring connection to Cornwall.

The Federation congratulates Par OCS on 75 years of dedicated service to Cornish culture.
