On Wednesday 22nd April 2026 a Memorial Service took place at St Stephens Church, Saltash to recognise 5 Saltash Firemen who died during World War 2.
Saltash OCS Supporting New Tribute To Firemen Killed in WW2
Saltash OCS are teaming up a former son of Saltash and ex Devon & Cornwall police officer, Neil Stanlake, to raise funds to restore the grave site of six Auxiliary Fire Service personnel, who were killed when their vehicle hit an unexpolded bomb in 1941.
